There seem to be several misconceptions here:

1) You don't close a thread: I can and will respond to some of the
messages that come into my mailbox.
2) You can't just join a project and expect changes to happen all of a
sudden because you propose them, how stupid the current situatios
happens to be.
3) Calling the current situation stupid and the developers amateurs
isn't going to get you anywhere other than in ignorefilters. Then
you'll be sure you'll never get where you wanted to go.

I hope you have more success in other projects.
