C-Core-Questions

Hi guys, sorry that I'm posting into the core mailinglist, but in the =
talk mailinglist no one could'nt / didnt't want to give me some answers =
about some (basic ? ) ruby core questions.

To sum it up:
1)
im trying to find the c-method(s) which is responsible if a local or =
global=20
variable is set.

example:

class X
  $globvar =3D "hey"  <- setting/instanciation of a global variable
  def hello
    hi =3D "hi"   <- setting/instancition of a local variable
   end
end

I've found out that the responsible methods for setting a class variable =
is:=20
rb_cvar_set
, for setting an instancevariable is rb_ivar_set and for constants=20
rb_const_set

2)
With rb_call / vm_call0 methods are called and then excecuted, right?
At=20
VALUE=20
vm_call0(rb_thread_t *th, VALUE klass, VALUE recv,   VALUE id, ID oid, =
int argc, const VALUE *argv,   NODE * body, int nosuper)

I want to find out what method is called. So I don't know where and how =
to get the methodname from.

If I have something like:
class X
  def hi()
  end
end
ix =3D X.new.hi

In which variable of the function vm_call0 do I see that the method "hi" =
was called?
