Subject: threads+sockets probs

Question:  With 1.8.6, it seems that (especially in win32, and in
linux to a lesser extent) when you mix threads + sockets sometimes
something gets confused and one sockets starts reading the data from
another, or writing to it, or you'll close one socket and it closes a
different socket than the expected. Maybe file descriptor confusion?
Any thoughts?
