What if a Ruby IDE allowed people to use Emacs or Vim as optional editors?

I don't know about Eider. Can you recommend some good URLs to look at?

I just tried Ruby/gtk for the first time recently, and it is already good
enough for some other things I am working on, but I have no idea of how
Ruby/gtk work is progressing. Any idea of how quickly work is progressing
and how much more there is to do and how long it might take to be reasonably
complete? Hope these are not too many questions. :-)

Anyway, THANKS to everyone who worked on Ruby/gtk!

Conrad
