Subject: [ruby-talk:01777] Ruby on Win/NT

I have the same responses with Ruby on Win/NT like I had with 
Perl/Tcl/Python on Win/NT.

The native unix-oriented stuffs cause exceptions, for instance `date`.
That is, if a Ruby program is to be portable, it should not use platform 
dependent stuffs.

Am I wrong?
