[ruby-talk:01721] Ruby IDE (like Python's IDLE)

Has anyone considered (or is anyone working on) a Ruby IDE (integrated
development environment), possibly something like Python's IDLE
(http://www.python.org/mailman/listinfo/idle-dev)?

Has anyone determined whether any of the GTK-related tools with scripting
extensions would be a suitable framework for doing a Ruby IDE?

Do people who have done lots of Ruby development think that a Ruby IDE would
be useful?

Are there any sorts of potential tools somewhere between the extremes of GUI
IDEs and command line that would be useful for Ruby development?

Conrad
