As this may turn out to be a 3rd party issue rather than a bug, I'd like some feedback.

From: Peter Vandenabeele <peter@...>

List: ruby-core #33996
Update: I now got the "activation" mail and can now log in.

Details, see below.

Update (around 12:10 UTC on 29 Dec 2010):

I just got an email with the subject:

"Your Ruby Issue Tracking System account activation"

and content:

To activate your account, click on the following link:
http://redmine.ruby-lang.org/account/activate?token=ZZP...

And when clicking on that link, I am redirected to:

  http://redmine.ruby-lang.org/login

  with a green flash message:

"V. Your account has been activated. You can now log in."

And effectively, this works (I can now login).

So, maybe the problem of the OP is that his account is not
activated ??

It might be useful to add the fact that an account is not
activated as a reason to the ERROR message when login fails.

Also, when registering as a new user, it confused me that I
was offered the login screen immediately, but did not get
the warning that my account needed to be activated first.

HTH,

Peter
