As this may turn out to be a 3rd party issue rather than a bug, I'd like some feedback.

[ruby-core:33845] Getting involved in Ruby

From: Benoit Daloze <eregontp@...>

List: ruby-core #33845
Hi dear Ruby core team !

I'm Benoit Daloze, and I have been coding with Ruby for a few years now.
I am a 19 years old Belgian student in computer science.

As some of you have probably noticed, I like to participate in
ruby-core threads, and I would like to get better involved.

My knowledge of C is a bit rusted, but I believe coding for my
favorite language will make it soon more accurate.
(and I recently wrote a few Ruby C extensions, so I think I could get
along relatively quick with the code).

I think my Ruby skills are good, while probably yours are far better.

I would love to see your answer on this thread, matz, especially since
I saw your 2010 keynote at EuRuKo concluding with "See you at
ruby-core@ruby-lang.org".
Well, here I am, how can I help ?

So, what would you (ruby-core coders) advise me to get better implied
in the core of Ruby ?

Is it any specific library which especially needs help ?

I would never thank you enough for such a jewel of a language,

Best Regards,
Benoit Daloze

( I answered partially my own question about getting involved by
working on the benchmark library,
however I am still very interested in your answers )
