Understood. I don't have a strong opinion as to which class should be returned. I just don't find the results always intuitive. Is there a rationale for the fact that: (x * 2).class # => Sub # but... (x+x).class # => Array Or similarly, why does: (x.slice(0,0)).class # => Sub # while... (x.slice!(0,0)).class # => Array Thanks -- Marc-Andr
