As this may turn out to be a 3rd party issue rather than a bug, I'd like some feedback.

I'm having one compiling on Windows with GCC 4.5.1:

gcc -O3 -g -Wextra -Wno-unused-parameter -Wno-parentheses
-Wpointer-arith -Wwrite-strings -Wno-missing-field-initializers
-Wno-long-long -I. -I.ext/include/i386-mingw32
-I../../../../ruby/include -I../../../../ruby -DRUBY_EXPORT -o io.o
-c ../../../../ruby/io.c
../../../../ruby/io.c: In function 'io_fillbuf':
../../../../ruby/io.c:1215:12: error: request for member 'capa' in
something not a structure or union
make: *** [io.o] Error 1

It might be associated with latest IO functionality added? IO advise?

Will investigate later today, after work.
