Hello, I was reading the Wiki in relation to roles and responsibilities, and wanted to have a better understanding on what are the boundaries/limits of my role. For example, on Issue #4203: http://redmine.ruby-lang.org/issues/show/4203 A bug introduced in Ruby 1.9.2 render Win32::Registry.create useless I've committed the fix in trunk, as it indeed corrected the issue, and created a backport #4205: http://redmine.ruby-lang.org/issues/show/4205 Assigned it to Ruby 1.9.2 maintainer, Yui NARUSE. I was wondering if due the Windows nature of the bug, should I backport myself, or that will be a violation of these boundaries? If I interpret the correctly the policies, is up to release maintainers to determine which commits can or should be backported. Since we're talking about a bug, I assume it should. Thank you in advance for your time reading this and I'll appreciate any comment about the workflow.
