Hello

I was also using Ruby for administrative tasks on Windows. I simply
installed the OneClickInstaller, removed unneeded extensions
(including stdlib extension like Curses or Readline or ri and
documentation) and copied it to a server. Then I could run the scripts
on any machine with access to that server. I left a few obscure
extensions I about which I was not sure what they are doing because I
was not particularly space constrained.

Basically you have to be careful not to remove some core extension
like Bigdecimal or something you are using.

The other catch is that some machines with OneClick installer already
installed were set up to load rubygems automagically so I had to
create an empty ubygems.rb in the ruby library directory.
