Given a program like this: #!/usr/bin/ruby def aaa puts "outer" end class XXX def aaa puts "inner" end def bbb aaa end end XXX.new.bbb always calls the inner function aaa from within bbb. How would I call the outer aaa from bbb? My first guess was to call ::aaa, but that is a syntax error. regards Hadmut
