Ruby1.9 Bug Report #18790

Hi list
I have done my best to avoid any doubles, but I just could not find
any reference to a report of this bug:
class Base
   def a; 170 end
end
class S1 < Base
   def a; super().succ end
end
class S2 < S1
end
puts S2.new.a #=> 171 correctly
##################################
class Base
   def a; 170 end
end
class S1 < Base
   define_method :a do super().succ end
end
class S2 < S1
end
puts S2.new.a #=> 172 !!! incorrectly

I have thus filed the BR as indicated above
