Subject: IRHG -- Depreciated Methods add_finalizer and remove_finalizer Problems

The depreciated methods
      add_finalizer()
      remove_finalizer()

Are now non-functional -- are they supposed to be?

The code for processing the 'finalizer' table and
commands (add_final, rm_final) are still present.
However, since the variable 'need_call_final' is
not set by 'add_final',  there is no way for gc_sweep()
to check for FL_FINALIZER unless 'define_finalizer()'
is also called at some point!

Am I missing something?

Should I create a patch to remove the trash,  or a patch
to fixed  'add_final()'  OR keep my hands off ??
