From: Luis Lavena Date: 2008-03-23T09:36:54+09:00 Subject: wrong sitearch definition for MinGW builds Hello List, I've checked that the config.h generated by configure scripts list RUBY_SITE_ARCHLIB as 'i386-msvcrt' instead of 'i386-mingw32' as RUBY_ARCHLIB. That could present some issues if new builds of MinGW that allow target different MSVCRT version are used. Shouldn't be RUBY_SITE_ARCHLIB the same as RUBY_ARCHLIB platform? Also, in configure.in, if mingw is used as platform, the i386 is automatically added, which is also wrong if you try to use mingw64 to build x64 version of Ruby. Should I submit this as patch to tracker? (before 1.8.7 get released). Thanks in advance for your time. -- Luis Lavena Multimedia systems - Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
