[ruby-talk:00548] Bug: concerning Modules!

Hi,

the following script seems to detect an error in the ruby interpreter.

def object(&blk)
    foo = ::Module.new
    foo.extend(Foo)
    foo.module_eval &blk if blk
    obj = foo.clone               # (1) Cause crash if blk.nil?
    obj.extend(foo)
    obj
end

module Foo
    def show
        print "show: #{@ivar}\n"
    end
end

foo = object do
    @ivar = 12
    @ivar2 = 14

    def show2
        print "show: #{@ivar2}\n"
    end
end

foo.show

bar = object                      # (2) The birth place of the crash
bar.extend(foo)

bar.show     
-------------------------- END OF SCRIPT -----------------------

Here (1) will cause a core dump, after invokation via (2)!

The message of the interpreter is:

bug1.rb:5: [BUG] Segmentation fault
Abort (core dumped)
Exit 134

Sorry, that I don't digging on my own, but I am to busy at the moment
