ruby -v: 1.8.6, 1.8.7, 1.9.1

I added the following test case to test_yaml.rb:

  class ::BaseballTeam
    attr_accessor :name
    def initialize(name); self.name = name; end
  end

  def test_map_with_complex_keys
    h = { BaseballTeam.new("New York Mets") => "national" }
    assert_nothing_raised { YAML::load( h.to_yaml ) }
  end

And it errors with the following:

  1) Failure:
test_map_with_complex_keys(YAML_Unit_Tests) [test_yaml.rb:85]:

The problem is that it emits the question mark in the wrong place.  I am expecting h.to_yaml to give:

? !ruby/object:BaseballTeam
  name: New York Mets
: national

but instead it gives:

---
!ruby/object:BaseballTeam ?
  name: New York Mets
: national


I have tried this on ruby 1.8.6, 1.8.7, REE-1.8.7, 1.9.1 and it fails.  The test passes on MacRuby 0.5 and JRuby 1.4.0.

Incidentally, I tried creating the unit test to use assert_to_yaml, but assert_equal (or more specifically '==') is not working when I compare 2 different hashes that have complex keys (even if I add in a simple == method to the BaseballTeam class).
