Bug #3153: Ruby 1.8.6 One-Click Installer deleted my docs! http://redmine.ruby-lang.org/issues/show/3153 Author: Marian Honsch Status: Open, Priority: Normal ruby -v: 1.8.6 Ruby 1.8.6 One-Click Installer was downloaded to desktop on windows 7. i started to install it, selected as folder c:\ruby - default option. then the installer asks that he can not install to an existing folder (the folder was not created!) and that he needs to delete the old one. sure why not. i clicked yes. then the installer started to delete all my documets c:\users\name\... all of them. i immediately stop it.lucky I make back ups.then i copy the installer to any folder in C not desktop and the install is going as usual. ---------------------------------------- http://redmine.ruby-lang.org
