[ruby-dev:17838] cannot install ruby 1.7 with program-suffix

Tietew です。

cvs update したら make install に失敗しました。

./configure --enable-shared --program-suffix=-1.7
してあります。rbconfig.rb で CONFIG["ruby_install_name"] = "ruby"
に成ってしまってるのが原因だと思うのですが…

./mkconfig.rb:36: warning: string pattern instead of regexp; metacharacters no longer effective
という警告とは関係ある…みたいですね。
