Hi,

In message "Re: [PATCH] Dir.tmpdir RDoc"

|Speaking of tmpdir, I'm curious why the tmpdir source
|isn't just merged into dir.c directly. I'm actually
|curious how I'm able to call Dir.tmpdir without
|requiring the tmpdir package directly.

Mostly because it's easier to implement tmpdir in Ruby than in C.

|Also, GetSystemWindowsDirectory() is deprecated on
|Windows in favor of ShGetFolderPath(). From the MSDN
|docs:
|
|"Applications should store code in the Program Files
|folder and persistent data in the Application Data
|folder in the user's profile."
|
|I'm not really sure why, though, or if it's really
|that critical.

Thank you for information. Could somebody work on it to make a patch
please? I am not able to program on Windows.
