Re: bug in mailread.rb, and: proposal for Mail#to_s

Just to throw in some information here...

There are two kinds of mbox files. BSD mbox files use /^From / as  
separator, and require that you escape 'From ' if it occurs at the  
start of a line.

System V mbox files use Content-length: headers to record the size of  
each mail message, don't use /^From / separators, and don't require  
an escaping mechanism.

I haven't looked to see if the mailread.rb code copes with both. If  
it doesn't, the documentation ought to at least mention that it only  
works for one variant of one kind of mailbox.

If it's not intended to be a mailbox reading library, I vote to  
remove the /^From / stuff entirely, it doesn't belong there and will  
cause breakage.
