Hi,

[#10594] grave bug in 1.8.6's thread implementation — Sylvain Joyeux <sylvain.joyeux@...4x.org>

In ext/thread/thread.c, remove_one leaves the list in an inconsistent state.

gmake check succeeds with no complaints when I apply this patch to
1.8.6-preview-3

The openssl bit shows up as
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/export/home/Scratch/hgs/ruby-1.8.6-preview3/ext/nkf'
compiling openssl
sh: gnome-config: not found
compiling pty
gmake[1]: Entering directory `/export/home/Scratch/hgs/ruby-1.8.6-preview3/ext/pty'

        Thank you,
        Hugh
