Because of TMTOWTDI.  There may be more than one way to express my
desire to the computers, preferably better one than P languages.
And I believe I made it.

The purpose of Ruby is to maximize programming pleasure.
Programming in Ruby is extremely fun, for me at least.
I think many would agree with me.
