[ruby-core:39480] Modifications to libraries like Rake should be done upstream first

Hello,

r33254 explicitly modifies Rake without modification upstream, only a quest=
ion:

It is hard to keep up syncronization of such libraries and
contributions when trunk is modified and the 3rd party library is out
of sync.

Please, before modify such libraries submit your modification upstream
and provide a link in your commit message if possible, so avoids
frustration tracking down discrepancies.
