However, it seems to be all about "because you won't do this". If you really care that much about the community then why not a compromise? I would love to just port all the tests/* over to RubySpec and continue to do so. That way Ruby committers can continue with the tests/* method, and RubySpec gains the benefits of tests against the language. Unfortunately I'm out of a job at the moment and don't have that time to dedicate.
