When ConditoinVariale#wait returns, timeout and signal can occur both as
the citation from POSIX in [ruby-core:28803].

In your use case, if your application don't test @quit when #wait notify
timeout occur, the background thread don't quit.
It causes dead lock.

You should ignore the return value of #wait and
check @quit as Yusuke said in [ruby-core:28693].
