Haven't tried with 8.4 I did notice that with the rubytk-kit and the other they both open up a "mystery" tk window in the background when I do the require 'tk' (which 1.8.x doesn't do, with 8.4) If that's any help or not... > Does your windows box have a multi-core CPU?
