NT 4.0 SP6a + VC 6.0 SP3 + RubyCRT.dllで、動作確認しました。

これって、2000-05-12のfile.cの変更の影響ですから、
むりもないかと。

ところで、Cygwin CD 1.0 + gcc 2.52.2で、readline.soが
作れなくなりました。

xmallocのconflictは[ruby-dev:9576]でもレポートされてましたね。
