| the core date.rb (which he also wrote).  (The only exception I can

He doesn't seem to make a comparison between his work and Ruby's, except to 
say his is an alternative. But considering he has written his own calendar 
app, I imagine he had his reasons. I will write him and ask. BTW: This also
