Hi,

Bug report: CGI std lib, MSIE Mac OS X, multipart forms, and image buttons.

Hi,

Over on ruby-talk some folks had said that this is the place to report
bugs with the standard library. So I'm reporting a problem with CGI.
Basically, if you're using image buttons with a form, you should be
able to get either "button", or "button.x" and "button.y" as values.
But when I do this in MSIE on OS X, and use a multipart form, I can't
get any of these values out of CGI.

I tried the same form in the same browser with PHP, and was able to
retrieve the values just fine. Also, Patrick May has tested this and
corroborated the bug.

There's more detail at
http://groups.google.com/groups?
hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&safe=off&th=f929bd6be2ca5032&rnum=5

Is this enough information to get the bug fixed? I've never submitted a
bug report to the std lib before so am unfamiliar if there is any
procedure for this.

Thanks,
Francis
