I'm willing to try.  Like I said, I have never done this before - so I 
am a bit nervous about procedures and methods.  However, I shall try to 
get the source for the Ruby trunk and try to build it with BCC32.

If someone has handled the BCC32 build earlier and can give me some 
guidance (off list), I would really appreciate this.
