[ruby-core:18126] Ruby (interpreter) C source code

Hi Ruby team,
I'm interested in to compliment my "Compiler" class studies by
understanding Ruby C source code (for interpreter MRI v 1.8.7) but, it
seems to be a bad task, because no comment on source -- describing the
overall structure of the interpreter, "where lexical analysis begins
and where parser generates syntax trees?", for example, to help
everyone from beginners to GNUs realize what's Ruby; no diagrams to
help understand its.

I think the historical achievements of software engineering as a
whole, not only restricted to art of programming, must be taken in
account.

A more understandable design or schema to clear the full Ruby's
architecture can be very helpful to improve and enhance community
collaboration.

Thanks for the comprehension.
Thanks for Ruby my coding experience.
