The main things that I need -- in any command-line editing environment
-- is word forward and back. Done. (Ctrl left, right). This isn't the
days of F8 and F2. I have a 50-line command history that discards
duplicates and works in forward or reverse.
I also have nearly as much scripting power as I would ask for from
bash, but I usually turn to Ruby for those things in any case.
These things aren't ard to find, and they work a lot like you'd
*expect* them to.
