Summary: test failures for stable-snapshot 09/04/2005

Initial Comment:
compiling with (*very old*) gcc 2.95.4 on debian, and with gcc 3.4.2 on windows XP SP2 (firewall inactive), I get something > 60 errors. 

It seem that most of them are related to the first one failing to bind an address or to release it.
Since the test failure reports are quite big I'm attaching them.
