Do I guess that this is a fix for the crash that I had with GridFlow's 
./configure script (which is actually written in Ruby) ? I believe that I 
reported this last winter (maybe February). It's something that happens 
during the END{} block. when i look up "POSTEXE" in parse.y I get the 
section where END{} is handled.

(I can't really verify that this was the crash, because the crash wasn't 
happening reliably: some machines had it, some didn't, depending on which 
distro, which CPU and how much luck.)
