Reorganizing configure.in by platform?
Hi, After looking at the docs for autoconf (ick), would it help to have separate configure.in scripts by platform? So, you would have a shell script called "configure" that would just: Check the platform Copy the appropriate configure.in script to the current directory Run autoconf Run configure, passing along any args originally passed to configure It looks like Perl does something along these lines with the files under the 'hints' directory. I think it would make life easier for folks trying to contribute for their given platform, and would ease maintenance in general. Thoughts?
