David, I wasn't talking about the Nazis.  To clear up any confusion, let me 
say the exact same thing as the quote, only less eloquently:

People should care about more than their own problem domain when they're 
advocating broad social changes.  This is in their own self-interest: they 
should care because, at some point, they'll be in the minority themselves, 
and nobody will care about their issues.

The source of the quote has *no* bearing on it's validity, and ad hominem 
attacks will not make it any less relevant.
