rb_env_t may use a flexible array, helps a little even on my busy system:

[ruby-core:64804] ETA for next Ruby 2.1.x release?

Hello, We didn't release Ruby 2.1.2 (or 2.1.1) for RubyInstaller due some changes in SSE usage that caused tests to fail and produce floating point issues. Luckily, these issues have been fixed in ruby_2_1 branch a few months ago and still reporting green: ruby -v: ruby 2.1.2p226 (2014-09-06 revision 47419) [i386-mingw32] 14692 tests, 2455428 assertions, 0 failures, 0 errors, 148 skips I would like to know if there is an schedule or ETA for next 2.1.x release so RubyInstaller team can prepare the builds for it. Developers have been requesting (some politely and others not so much) about Ruby 2.1.x and I would like to provide a formal response. Thank you in advance for your time and response.
