hi all,
I just joined this ML. hope you'll like Glade/Ruby :)
any comments are welcome.
http://kafka.salem.mass.edu/~yashi/glade-ruby-0.3.0.tar.bz
this version can now generate calculator which can be found in one of
the best Ruby/Gtk Tutorial Documents by akaishi@ruby.freak.ne.jp or
http://ruby.freak.ne.jp/gtk. check out in examples dir.
Glade/Ruby is Glade XML Parser class based on XMLParser Module by
Masato Yoshida. Glade/Ruby is for Ruby/Gtk as libglade is for C. It,
yet, supports basic widgets only. Hope to catch up with Ruby/Gtk
sometime soon.
unlike libglade, Glade/Ruby does not handle signals. That is because
Ruby/Gtk uses Ruby's inline callback function, aka iterator, for
signal handling, and I don't know how well I can support without
hacking Glade itself. If you have an idea, please let me know :)
