Hi, I released rb2c-0.6.0. http://easter.kuee.kyoto-u.ac.jp/~hiwada/ruby/rb2c/ http://easter.kuee.kyoto-u.ac.jp/~hiwada/ruby/rb2c/arc/rb2c-0.6.0.tgz `rb2c' is a Ruby-to-C converter. As a result of conversion, * You can get scripts run a little bit faster. * Compile and link, and you'll get a human-unreadable binary. On the other hand, * You can't help doubting that it runs really same as Ruby interpreter :-( You can use/modify/redistribute it under the same terms of Ruby (it's less restrictive than GPL). Enjoy it. # if you are interested in JIT compiler for ruby on i586, check this out. # http://easter.kuee.kyoto-u.ac.jp/~hiwada/ruby/rubyjit/ -- excuse my buggy english best regards Kazuhiro HIWADA (hiwada@kuee.kyoto-u.ac.jp)
