Hi, this is a rejected mail from Julian. I'm going to forward this message to Japanese speaking list too, where I can find telnet.rb guru. ------- Start of forwarded message ------- Date: Sun, 27 Jun 1999 16:07:35 -0500 (CDT) From: Julian R Fondren <julian@cartotech.com> To: ruby-talk ML <ruby-talk@netlab.co.jp> Subject: telnet.rb and using it In-Reply-To: <000701bebfeb$dc32f760$0200a8c0@georg> Message-ID: <Pine.SUN.3.96.990627155955.3095A-100000@cartotech.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Hi, If it isn't too much trouble, could I have an example of telnet.rb actually being used as a general 'telnet'? At the moment I'm thinking of using seperate threads for input and output from the connection, and this part of actually using telnet.rb to get and display all output as it is seen while at the same time repeatedly reading input with readline in another thread is where I'm having trouble. Thank you, ------- End of forwarded message -------
