Subject: [ruby-talk:9944] Questions about CGI

After reading the pickaxe book, I have become confused.  I'm trying to use 
a multi part form and have two fundamental questions.
1.  Under the cgi instance methods on page 504 there is some notation for 
[] which I don't understand.  The call is aCGi[ < aString>+] ---> 
anArray.  the "<" isn't the exact notation.  I don't have the character 
used on my keyboard.  Just what array is returned? and what is 
<aString>+.  Can I get a small snippet of code as an example?

2. How do I refer to CGI#[] to get the multi part form methods.  I think I 
have to use the <aString> + but I'm not able to get the syntax I've tried 
to work.

For example I have a form with  and <input type ="file" 
name='"send_file">  in a multipart form.  How do I invoke the methods 
"read, local_path, original_filename, content_type"?

This is one example of my trials.

doesn't work
