Based on how they look, I'm guessing it strips all of the string 
literals out of the source code.

Perhaps a regexp could get all the "quoted" strings, or maybe a lexer 
would be needed, I'm not sure.

I was somewhat struck by how simple and readable it was in YAML... 
definitely a tribute to it's flexibility.
