If I am understanding you correctly, you missed the point of most of the replies to your first post. Ruby isn't _specifically_ designed as a web programming language. However, it works very well for that purpose. There are a lot of people who use it daily for that purpose, and there are a number of people, including myself, who have software that we have developed specifically for web development.
