Subject: [ruby-talk:9718] Can someone tell the the scoop on Mac ports


Not being a Mac user, I'm a bit confused over the status of Mac
ports. The FAQ says Ruby runs on the Mac, and I know that Ruby
compiles under OSX, but what about earlier versions? In particular:

1. How do I compiler Ruby for earlier Macs?
2. Are precompiled Mac binaries available?

I'll add the answers to the FAQ.
