Subject: [ruby-talk:9567] ANN: Windows InstallShield 1.6.2 Available

I'm pleased to announce that the Windows InstallShield version of 
Ruby 1.6.2 is finally ready and available at

	http://www.pragmaticprogrammer.com/ruby/downloads/ruby-install.html

Please note that this version of InstallShield does *not* use the
now-infamous Windows Installer Service; it uses good old-fashioned
technology and actually works :-)

If you had previously installed using ruby161-0.exe, I would strongly
advise un-installing the existing 1.6.1 before installing this
version.
