    Hmm, sounds like either self-publishing, shoveling it over to
O'Reilly, having the detailed chapters online only, or going
multi-volume.

    I like the idea of "one-pagers for everything, deeper chapters for
some".  Intermediate levels of detail, or deeper examples that touch
on several, might separate out well into a separate volume.
