Subject: semantics of continuations

first of all, this is just a request for (participation|comment).

Leopold Toetsch, one of parrots lead hackers asked for semantics for
continuations(conts from now on), to optimize parrot.
i understand way to less about conts, but as we do rely on them,i think we
should clarify the semantics.

the optimization is about recycling of conts, which seems not possible with
conts, that return multiple times (which 2.times{..} does as far as i
understood).
recycling makes parrot way faster, so i do not want ruby to run slowly on
parrot, so i urge everyone, who has deeper understanding of conts to
clarify some things on the parrot list[1].
