Subject: [ruby-talk:9398] Spiffy timing method anyone?

I noticed that the Time class supports microsecionds. I am interested in
how Rubyites perform timing sutdies on blocks of code.

Is the Time class ok, or have you written your own Timer?
Do you use explicit calls to get a start/stop time around the code being 
tested or do you use a more sophisticated method with using yield?
